About this couple's cottage for up to 2 guests in Cornwall

This delightful and charming country cottage is an ideal getaway for couples, as it accommodates just two and has a cosy, intimate feel to it, despite its large amount of space. What makes Blue Oyster particularly unique is the collection of cult photos adorning the walls - the collection spans some 35 years. Pets aren’t welcome here.

The cottage is light, bright and airy throughout and is very contemporary in its design and decor. The double bedroom is very spacious and comfortable, and has an en-suite bathroom with WC and double shower. The open plan living area is particularly impressive: there’s a well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar, a dining area, a sitting area with smart TV and even a pool table. Taking centre stage is the large wood burner, which makes cosy nights on the settee all the more relaxing and enjoyable. For guests’ enjoyment a selection of games, books and DVDs are provided, while the smart TV comes with Freeview, BT Sport and Netflix. When staying here, you can park your car right outside, as there are two off-road parking spaces available.

While you’re at Blue Oyster, you should definitely explore the local area and beyond. Just 10 minutes’ walk from the property is the village of Mullion, where you’ll find a good selection of local shops, places to eat and drink, craft shops, inns and galleries. A short drive away is Lizard Point, which is well-known not just for being particularly scenic, but also for being the southernmost point in the UK. Some of the many other attractions in the area that are worth visiting include Poldark Mine, where you can go on underground tours, and the Cornish Seal Sanctuary.
