Ancarva is an ideal property for those who want to stay in sleek stylish accommodation in Cornwall for a holiday to remember. Located right on the banks of the River Tamar, this holiday house offers delightful views of the estuary and the surrounding area. Modern and sleek in design, it’s very much a country house at heart, yet it’s designed to appeal to today’s discerning traveller. In fact, it’s particularly ideal for families and groups of friends, as it’s capable of accommodating up to eight people in four bedrooms. For guests’ convenience, there are no fewer than three bathrooms, two of which are en-suite.
All of the bedrooms and bathrooms are on the property’s lower floor, while the open-plan living, dining and kitchen space takes up the first floor. There’s also an al fresco patio area that makes for a great setting for meals together whenever the weather is favourable. Floor-to-ceiling windows make the property particularly bright and airy and they enable you to appreciate the wonderful views even more. As the house is particularly large, it has a suitable number of off-road parking spaces, with four altogether. The garden surrounding the house is well presented and of a good size, while down by the river there’s mooring and a pontoon. Sorry no pets, this property isn’t pet friendly.
Close by is the large village of Milbrook, which lies on the Rame Peninsula. Due to its location right at the head of a tidal creek, the village has quite a picturesque setting. Another nearby village, Torpoint, offers a regular ferry service to the city of Plymouth, a thriving port city known for its eclectic culture, its distinct maritime heritage and its vibrant waterfront packed with sights to see and attractions to experience.
