Liskeard is a small market town located in the south-eastern part of Cornwall in England. Liskeard is situated at the head of Looe valley, which is known for its attractive countryside. This important market town has developed a lot over time and there are a number of appealing buildings here including examples of Victorian architecture, a town hall and a clock tower. Also not far from Liskeard is Bodmin Moor, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty.

The historical attractions here include the remains of a Norman castle, which was built after the conquest. Liskeard has been a major agricultural centre after the year 1240 when the market charter was granted to it by Richard, Earl of Cornwall.
