Surrounded by fields and with panoramic countryside views Stag Cottage is valued as a rural haven. It is one of nine cottages dotted around its own garden-village green in wide open private grounds and gardens. Nestled overlooking the wooded Torridge Valley and RHS Rosemoor Gardens, the cottage and grounds enjoy views of gentle hills, fields and distant farms.

Stag Cottage enjoys a prime position in extensive shared gardens. These wide open grounds are a place of magical interaction with our little farm, home to rabbits, guinea pigs, pet mice, quails, two young pigs and gentle Mr Goose and his duck friends. Everyone is encouraged to take an active role in the daily farm routine. Throughout the season there are the young of all of the small animals as well as chicks and ducklings. A play room with pool, table hockey and table tennis adjoins a play room with comfy sofas. The whole site is served with fast Wi-Fi, plenty of barbecues, toys, books, and dvds.

Ideally situated for walks, from the Tarka Trail, Torrington Commons, ancient Green Lanes, the SW Coastal Path and Dartmoor. Opportunities abound for cycling, surfing, fishing, golf, garden visits, sightseeing, cream teas, country pubs, Civil War and War Horse sites. Little Torrington is a short 3 miles from Torrington, 25 minutes to sandy beaches, various jolly good attractions and outdoor pursuits.
