Self catering holidays in Central Greece

Located below the region of Thessaly is the region of Central Greece.  Central Greece is an area not typically visited for self catering holidays.  However, this makes it an excellent unspoilt area to discover for those that make the trip to Central Greece.  Due to its geographical location, central Greece is not a place by and large for beach holidays but if you are interested in beautiful countryside and interesting historical sites then you may wish to visit Central Greece.  The amazing mountain side ancient site of Delphi and its amazing amphitheatre is located in central Greece and is a fascinating place to visit.  If you are staying in Athens it is possible to visit Delphi on a day trip.  Coach trips can be booked from Athens.
