Broadstairs offers miles of sheltered sandy bays - perfect for families with children. The chalky cliffs north of Broadstairs afford views over the Thames estuary and Isle of Thanet. Broadstairs has strong associations with Charles Dickens. Dickens lived for a period in Broadstairs and wrote David Copperfield during his stay.
