Self catering for winter lets in the UK and Ireland

There are times in life when you need to find a rental longer than the typical one or two week self catering stay.  For such times, particularly, out of season in winter, you may be able to find a self catering property to rent for a winter let.  There are lots of reasons why people need to find winter lets.  You may be moving home and need a stop gap for a month or two.  Or you may be new to an area and want somewhere to stay short term whilst you find your ideal place to buy or to rent for a year or more.  With winter lets you may find that some cottage owners are willing to negotiate on price for this time of year.
