The beautiful, cobbled fishing village of Clovelly is only a few miles away, with its whitewashed cottages and steep cobbled streets where cars are banned and only donkeys are permitted to carry goods up and down the steep lanes. Here you can see the little cottage, now a museum, where the author Charles Kingsley once lived.
