The former Central Region of Scotland, roughly the area between the two great cities of Glasgow in the west and Edinburgh in the east is now the counties of Falkirk, Stirling, and Clackmannanshire. A visit to Scotland must include a trip to both historic Edinburgh, the arts and culture centre of Glasgow and the university city of Stirling.
