The cottage sleeps 4 and has just been completely refurbished and has a new kitchen and bathroom. It has an outside area with table and chairs. Sheplegh Court has extensive grounds and guests have full use of a heated swimming pool, all weather tennis court, sauna with plunge pool and a snooker room. The nearest village is Blackawton, although Kingsbridge, Dartmough and Totnes are also close. The area is a haven for all kinds of wildlife and there are beautiful coast and country walks nearby.

For the walker, a generous network of public footpaths radiates from the Estate with Felton Village only 3 miles across the fields. For the equestrian, plentiful horse-grazing paddocks can be provided on the estate. Eshott Is centrally placed in the glorious county of Northumberland: Alnwick Garden, the Cheviot Hills, the unspoilt coastline and its castles are all nearby. Local services including doctors, shops, public houses and restaurants are within 5 miles. Market town shopping is close to hand in Morpeth and Alnwick, both about 10 minutes drive. Newcastle, its International Airport and mainline Railway Station are only 30 minutes away. The most picturesque train route to Edinburgh takes an hour from Eshott's nearby station at Alnmouth.

The historic village of Dedham lies on the Essex-Suffolk border surrounded by miles of unspoilt countryside.Downstairs there is a spacious dining/ living room with a stereo system, wireless broadband (your own laptop) and working fireplace. Adjoining is a beautiful hand crafted elm kitchen fully equipped with all modern appliances including microwave and dishwasher. This leads to another comfortable lounge area with TV & video, opening on to a garden. Upstairs there are 5 bedrooms (3 double, 2 twin) to sleep up to 10, and two bathrooms fitted with bath and shower, one with large walk in shower, and one more en suite . The sitting room converts to an en suite ground floor bedroom if required for additional, or guests with special needs. Laundry facilities are available inside the cottage. Gourmet breaks can be arranged. The house is available for Christmas and New Year
