Stonebank Annexe is attached to our Grade II listed home, which dates from the early 17th century. Situated in a quiet location near the centre of the village of Chickerell, it is set back from the road in pleasant gardens. It has two bedrooms, one twin and one double, a comfortable lounge/dining room with an electric fire, Freesat colour T.V./DVD, radio, cd player with 1Pod dock, WiFi available and a choice of books and games. The well equipped kitchen has an electric cooker, refrigerator, freezer, coffee machine and microwave. There is a patio with garden furniture and enclosed garden with parking next to the property. All gas central heating, power, linen & towels included. Stonebank is three miles west of Weymouth, Dorset, close to the world heritage Jurassic coast, 8 miles from the county town of Dorchester and near West Bay, the home of the TV program Broadchurch. This is a no smoking property. One small pet welcome. Open all year with short breaks available through the winter months.

Recommended Attractions near Chickerell: Weymouth town is 3 miles to the east & has all manner of seaside attractions from swimming, watersports, fishing, outdoor bowling to name a few. As it hosted the sailing Olympics in 2012 the sailing academy is very active and interestingly only a short stroll from King Henry VIII Portland castle. The pretty village of Abbotsbury is 6 miles to the west with its famous Swannery and sub-tropical gardens, the coastal towns of Lyme Regis, Swanage & many attractive villages are within easy reach by car or the X53 bus which travels the coast road. The county town of Dorchester is 8 miles north with interesting museums and historical sites. The larger towns of Bournemouth, Exeter, Salisbury & Bath are all worth a visit. Stonebank is ideally situated for visiting the many bird reserves in the area, two in Weymouth.
