The first impression of this stone, glass fronted holiday barn is usually ‘wow'. Garth Morthin Barn stands at the northern end of Cardigan Bay in the village of Morfa Bychan close to Porthmadog and a long stretch of sandy beach. The property is strictly up-market, one of two built to a high specification. Inside, there is mood lighting, a designer kitchen, a lovely wrought iron and stone staircase and every thought given to creating a desirable holiday home.
The barn can accommodate up to eight people in its four bedrooms, all with their own TV. Three of the bedrooms, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom are on ground and also on upper floors providing a choice should anyone in the group have difficulty in climbing stairs.
The open-plan spacious and bright living area has enormous picture windows with lovely views of the countryside and the patio with seating in the garden. There is a barbecue should anyone wish to sizzle a few burgers, Welsh lamb chops or sausages. This self-catering house near Porthmadog holds the promise of fun and a holiday to remember.
There is a games room outside which is shared with the adjoining cottage. Plenty of parking space means that guests have no problems in parking up to four cars. This 5 star cottage in Wales is equipped with everything necessary for an easy self-catering break. Pets are also welcome.
Garth Morthin Barn is on the edge of the Llyn Peninsula which is noted for its wild flowers and natural beauty. Walk the coastal path, spend lazy days on the beaches, pop over into the Snowdonia National Park. This luxurious Welsh holiday home has it all.
