A fabulous grade II listed detached holiday barn, which sleeps up to 7 people, providing mesmerising views over the rolling Derbyshire countryside. As a former stable block, the property oozes character both externally and internally, and makes for a comfortable rural hideaway.

One immediately is drawn to the exposed wooden beams that run throughout this property and the unusual split-level living room with its corner bar-billiards table. The room exudes warmth with the electric woodburner and comfortable sofas. The well-equipped kitchen, with farmhouse style dining room is an ideal sociable room. The bedrooms are spacious, especially the large double bedroom, but are interconnecting and there is one bathroom.

On the other side of the courtyard is a barn with a luxurious sauna, hot tub and shower facilities. Garden furniture and BBQ are available for an alfresco meal and off-road parking is available for up to 4 cars.

The hamlet of Millthorpe is a quiet little hamlet on a hilltop between Bakewell and Sheffield, boasting some stunning views over the Peak District National Park. There are many unique villages, charming local pubs and fine-dining restaurants. Gorgeous walks can be enjoyed in nearby Damflask, Dale Dike and Ladybower dams. The large city of Sheffield is only a short drive away, as are the majestic country homes of Chatsworth House and Hardwick Hall.
