Book a memorable holiday in a lovely wooden log cabin on the shores of Windermere at the White Cross Bay Park, half-way between Ambleside and Bowness-on-Windermere. Perfect for views of the water and the lovely Cumbrian hills beyond, this lodge is the place for a relaxing family holiday in Cumbria.

The lodge sleeps six people in its three bedrooms. The walls are lined with golden pine that creates that cosy atmosphere. The spacious vaulted living area opens out onto the decked terrace where there is plenty of seating out in the fresh air. Comfy chairs are arranged around the living room where guests can watch TV with two SKY sports channels.

The smart modern kitchen contains all essential appliances including a fridge/freezer. It opens out onto the wood-walled dining area. Even the bedroom walls are lined with pine which makes the lodge feel ever so cosy.
In addition to attractive accommodation, the holiday village has numerous additional facilities that would enhance any Windermere holiday. There is an indoor swimming pool, a children's play ground, restaurant, shop and its own pub.

The location cannot be beaten in that there are watersports galore on Windermere. Passenger boats ply up and down Lake Windermere and there are also great opportunities for sailing yachts, dinghies and fishing.

The great delights of Cumbria are the countless walks through stunning Cumbrian landscapes. Explore the very pretty Windermere area, visit the popular tourist village of Ambleside, ride the steam trains at Lakeside, visit the Lakeland Motor Museum and generally have a wonderful time.
