Home Farm is a Grade II listed, non-working farm. It dates back over 500 years and is set in a quiet, peaceful hamlet with a back-cloth of the Mendip Hills and views across the Loxton Valley. The cottages have been imaginatively converted from the original farm buildings and retain many original features, yet provide full modern comforts and facilities. There are four cottages available: Granary sleeps 6(+1) Hayloft sleeps 4(+1) Scrumpy sleeps 2(+1) Bakehouse sleeps 2. Details of all the cottages, and a virtual tour are on our website (see below). All cottages are non-smoking. There is a courtyard witha BBQ for our guests to use and good onsite parking.Sorry, we do not accept pets. For places to visit, the cottages are within easy reach of Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Bath, Bristol, Glastonbury, Wells and Longleat. Many attractions within an hour's drive from Home Farm include Exmoor National Park with wonderful walks and good pubs. The Royal Bath and West Showground has a variety of events all through the year. Regular horse racing is to be found at Wincanton and Taunton, and Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust is off exit 13 of the M5 going north. There are several excellent walks that leave directly from Home Farm, and the enclosed paddock, where our chickens roam free, is a safe place for children to play.
