3. A freshly backed Victoria sponge cake (made with our own fresh, free-range hen eggs or, when in season, goose eggs), a pack of sausages and pot of home-made jam or marmalade will be left for you along with tea, coffee, sugar and a jug of milk.

Children are very welcome guests and to help we provide (by arrangement) a high chair, stair gate and travel cot as well as changing mats, a steriliser, a 3-wheel pushchair and baskets of toys, games, books and DVDs to suit different ages. This will save space in your car and help amuse your children what ever the weather.

5. The huge garden offers privacy as well as providing a great space for children to let off steam. In the summer enjoy the tremendous views which give a wonderful sense of space and freedom.

6. The area is great for walking and we supply a full set of Ordnance Survey maps so that you can make the very best use of the network of public rights of way.

7. The woodburner which is set back into the inglenook fireplace makes the cottage feel warm and cosy.
