Local attractions: On our Organic Dairy Farm itself there is a pool for Carp Fishing and Ornithologists can enjoy a variety of bird life as the Reservoir is a renowned area for rare sightings and is a reserve managed by the West Midland Bird Club. One of our fields is an S.S.S.I. as it is a winter feeding ground for Widgeon ducks. For the Walking enthusiasts we have created walks across our farmland to link into the Staffordshire Way Footpath which runs along the southern side of the farm. There are numerous places within easy driving distance for days out; Alton Towers, Stoke on Trent for Potteries, Ironbridge with its museums, Cannock Chase forest areas, Ashbourne, Tissington, Bakewell and other towns in the Peak District. |
