The on site lake is popular for wild swimming and messing about in the Canadian canoes provided. Clywedog reservoir is nearby with sailing, fly fishing, paddle boarding and more great walking. Hafren Forest, Yamaha Off Road Experience (courses for off road motorcycling, adults and children, beginners and experienced) Powis Castle and The Centre for Alternative Technology are all nearby. The beach is just an hour away.
