Lakeview Lodge has its own private fishing lake, and is stocked with Carp. It's a great place for a fishing holiday. Set in a tranquil rural setting, the lodge nestles amongst Birch, Pine, Conifer and Spruce trees, and overlooks the private lake, making it an idyllic location for a tranquil lodge holiday. With a stylish and comfortable interior, this 2 bedroom lodge is well presented both inside and out and is a great place to stay, whether holidaying, needing 'time out' or simply as a stop off when travelling further a-field. The open plan style living area comprises of a comfy lounge area in neutral tones, TV with Freeview and DVD, and a warming log effect gas fire; along with a modern and well equipped kitchen. There are two bedrooms; one double and one single. If required, the convertible sofas in the lounge can provide an additional two single beds. The bathroom comprises a shower cubicle, vanity sink and WC. Outside, the decked veranda next to this lodge is just fantastic, with its South-facing position and lake views. This is a great spot to sit out and enjoy dining al fresco, read a book or simply listen to the birdsong and absorb in the nature!. Rent the lodge on its own, or with exclusive use of the lake, the choice is yours. Day and night fishing is available, charged per 24hrs (fishing for two people is included in the price when renting both the lodge and lake together). The lodge is situated in the beautiful Vale of Belvoir, just 15 minutesí drive from the lovely town of Melton Mowbray. There are many interesting places to visit and discover in the local area; Belvoir Castle is just 15 minutesí drive away, Leicester with its Cathedral and Space Centre is within half an hourís drive and Rutland Water is just 45 minutesí drive away. All bedding, towels, heating and electricity are included in the price. When renting the lodge and lake together, fishing for 2 anglers is also included. A choice of fishing is offered - Carp fishing on the private lake, or Coarse fishing on a day basis at the neighbouring Coarse fishery. Fishing lessons from a qualified instructor, for either Carp fishing or Coarse fishing are available, priced at £7.50 per hour (to be paid directly to the instructor). Fishing equipment is included in the lessons if required, and can be rented separately. The lodge is family-friendly but children must be closely supervised at all times as the lodge is located next to the lake.
