The Moor built fortress town of Gaucin is a fascinating place to spend an afternoon, explore the narrow cobbled streets to view traditional architecture and a welcome number of tapas bars.

The historic city of Seville is built on the banks of the River Guadalquivir. Famous landmarks include the cathedral, the Alcazar and the Maestranza Bullring. Seville is the original birthplace of tapas; enjoy delicious dishes such as meatballs in tomato sauce, serrano ham and juicy shrimp with garlic. Seville is also famous for its oranges which are beloved by the British made intio a sharp marmalade. Outside the city, visit the Sierra Aracena National Park to hike through a lush forest, or try fishing in Lake Aracena.
