Built in 1832 in the Gothic Revival style, this unique self-catering property is situated in a sleepy village 2 miles from the pretty town of Wells, England's smallest city. And just half an hour away is the World Heritage City of Bath, with its sightseeing, fabulous shopping and famous Thermae Bath Spa. The Gothic Church has been fully modernised, yet retains many wonderful original features, such as the stained glass windows. The spacious Chancel living room features Gothic windows and a large central woodburner and there are 6 bedrooms sleeping 16 guests plus 2 beds in the living room and 2 extra fold out beds for additional guests or children. The kitchen breakfast room is 44' and there is an additional mezzanine dining gallery with magnificent feature stained glass windows. There are 2 large shower rooms and one spacious bathroom. Outside there is a courtyard featuring a log cabin with hot tub. As well as the lovely little city of Wells to explore, there are plenty of activities in the area including riding, quad biking and clay pigeon shooting, We can also provide contact details for recommended caterers and beauticians who will come to the Church to make your weekend even more special. There is no special wheelchair access at The Church, but the property does have bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor for those with mobility difficulties. Prices start at £135 per person for a two night self-catering stay, with a minimum booking of 16 guests. Three night stays are available with a discount.
