Stone mullioned windows, huge fireplaces and exposed beams are complemented by contemporary furnishings, clean lines and stylish decor.The extensive grounds include beautiful, mature gardens, an ornamental pond, a tennis court, a croquet lawn, and even a lake with its own island. The surrounding countryside has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers unlimited scope for walking, cycling and sight seeing. Set on a south-facing slope on the edge of the pretty village of Bourton, Chaffeymoor Grange is within easy walking distance of the excellent local pub and village shop. Local facilities can be found in the attractive town of Mere, about 3 miles away, with the larger towns of Wincanton and Gillingham about 4 miles away. The historic towns of Sherborne and Shaftesbury are also close by. Newly refurbished Victorian period country cottage, in the pretty village of Marston Magna in Somerset, just 5 miles from Sherborne, sleeping 4 people, plus one baby (travel cot and stairgates provided). The 19th Century period cottage has exposed beams and is a charming place to stay for your holiday. On the ground floor the fully equipped kitchen has exposed beams and pine table and four chairs. Plus washing machine, fridge and freezer, iron/table, vaccum, microwave. A cosy Lounge with Colour 32" HD/TV with built in DVD and freeview. CD player, and radio, plus games, toys, books, CD/DVDs for all. There is a spacious Bathroom with toilet, sink, shower and bidet and a heated towel rail. Standing Fan is now provided. FREE WI-FI throughout.

Upstairs there are two large double bedrooms - one with a king size bed, bedside cabinets, built in wardrobes and a sofa, with stunning views over the countryside, and the other bedroom with two single beds, dressing table, treble wardrobe and bedside cabinet, and full length mirrors.

Outside there is an enclosed private, south facing garden with climbing plants and shrubs and seating and garden furniture. A large Summer House, Games room separate from the cottage, which has a snooker table and football table in. Outside of this there is a patio area with seating. Also a small glass lean-to by the backdoor, where you can read, take in a coffee and peace and quiet.

Parking: 2 car parking spaces adjacent to the cottage, in a separate garden area.

Stunning countryside with lovely walks from the door! All in all - a delightful cottage in rural surroundings.
