These barns enjoy an idyllic location in the eastern corner of the Brecon Beacons National Park, a mountainous region with rolling fields and hedges. An ideal base for exploring the Black Mountains and Crickhowell, Big Pit, Water Falls, Welsh Castles or Brecon Canal, Hay on Wye the town of books, Brecon with Cathedral, Talgarth with bakery or Abergavenny with outdoor markets. Walking to Sugar Loaf from front door. Great cycling along the roads leading to Little Hare Barns. Superb Restaurants in Crickhowell and Hereford borders.
Book both barns to accommodate seven or rent Long Hare Barn (sleeps 5) for a break with family or friends or Little Hare Barn (sleeps 2) for a couple’s get away in the beautiful Brecon Beacons.

Recommended Attractions near Glangrwyney: Llangorse Lake for Bird watching, Talybont Reservoir for bird watching. Raglan Castle to explore for all ages. Big Pit for over fives, exploring the life of a miner, with pit head baths, pit pony stables and the story of coal. Hay on Wye, a town of books, its Literary Festival or Festival of Light takes place the ;ast week end of May, or half term. As a market town with regular livestock markets, very good hotels for meals and cafes, small independent shops, and books too. Crickhowell, a coaching town with The Bear Inn for very good food, a bustling pub serving food much of the day. Book shops and good butchers and hard ware store. Abergavenny famous for its outdoor market, Angel Hotel serves good food, Train station. Talgarth has a bakery which mills its own flour and offers tours, an excellent butchers shop, supported by local farmers supply the good meats for sale. Wales has many Castles, Three Castles, Skenfrith, White Castle and Bayliss Castle with a vineyard near and walks or cycle route around.
