The small town of Goring is on the B4526 in south east Oxfordshire, south of Wallingford and close to Reading. A river town on the Thames, Goring offers lovely walks with good views along the river. There are plenty of period timber-framed buildings to admire, an old church and mill, plus the essential pubs. It's a pleasant place for a Sunday lunch and walk.
