A small group of six stone-built country cottages in the heart of the beautiful North Devon countryside, in twelve acres of woodlands with a croquet lawn alongside gardens and a stream. The cottages each accommodate a varying number of guests from 2-8 (max group size=31). The Tarka Trail, the path of a disused railway line, runs nearby where you can hire a bike or walk through the Devon countryside. The beautiful, cobbled fishing village of Clovelly is only a few miles away, with its whitewashed cottages and steep cobbled streets where cars are banned and only donkeys are permitted to carry goods up and down the steep lanes. Here you can see the little cottage, now a museum, where the author Charles Kingsley once lived.
