The 5 star luxury apartment, which is self-contained and on two floors, forms part of Pump House, a large house in the country village of Great Burstead in the county of Essex. The village is close to Billericay - a small country town with strong US connections. London, Canterbury, Cambridge, Colchester and "Constable Country" can all be reached within an hour by road. There is a fast rail link to London (30 - 40 minutes), less than 1 hour from London. A regular bus service is available close by. Whilst a car is not essential, it would enhance your enjoyment. The accommodation in the apartment (up to 1,500 sq. ft.) has two living rooms, a dining room, a fully-fitted kitchen and the choice of one, two or three bedrooms with one to three bath/shower rooms (two en-suite).

In August 1771 Richard Arkwright began building in Cromford. He created the world’s first successful water powered cotton spinning mill it is now a World Heritage site. Relax and walk in the Peak District. Beautiful central village cottage made of old stone (exposed) with beams, newly renovated with modern luxury facilities including a whirlpool. The cottage is situated in the centre of the village with 3 pubs, 1 restaurant, Butchers, chemist, grocers and post office/newsagent all in a minutes stroll. There is also the world famous Scarthin books which also has a vegetarian cafe. Dogs are made welcome at Tor View. ideally situated for walks on the canal or in the peak district (Chatsworth House is s a must). Matlock is 15 min walk if you require a more lively night out. Sleeps 8. Half-term, Easter, summer breaks ideal. Walking, cycling, fishing, caneoing, dogs welcome, short stay availability.
