Drewsteignton is a small village on the edge of Dartmoor, complete with local pub, hotel and church. Places to visit nearby include National Trust Castle Drogo for an interesting gentleman's residence and attractive gardens - especially the rhododendrons in spring. Chagford, just a few miles away is another interesting village with two amazing cavernous general stores that sell almost everything one would ever need.
