Windover Farm Cottage
|
|
|
Windover Farm Cottage is a gorgeous Devonshire cottage offering first class, luxurious accommodation for 4 people (in 2 rooms - one double and one twin). Its a perfect rural retreat for both families and couples.
Here are 10 reasons why guests enjoy staying here:
1.The hens in the garden lay fresh eggs for you to collect and eat!
2.Windover Farm Cottage is part of a smallholding. There are ducks and geese to meet and our Gloucester Old Spot pigs to admire. In the summer we often have a mother hen and chicks scratching around and pregnant cows in the fields.
3.A freshly backed Victoria sponge cake (made with our own fresh, free-range hen eggs or, when in season, goose eggs), a pack of sausages and pot of home-made jam or marmalade will be left for you along with tea, coffee, sugar and a jug of milk.
4.Children are very welcome guests and to help we provide (by arrangement) a high chair, stair gate and travel cot as well as changing mats, a steriliser, a 3-wheel pushchair and baskets of toys, games, books and DVDs to suit different ages. This will save space in your car and help amuse your children what ever the weather.
5.The huge garden offers privacy as well as providing a great space for children to let off steam. In the summer enjoy the tremendous views which give a wonderful sense of space and freedom.
6.The area is great for walking and we supply a full set of Ordnance Survey maps so that you can make the very best use of the network of public rights of way.
7.The woodburner which is set back into the inglenook fireplace makes the cottage feel warm and cosy.
8.Hampers or local homemade ready-meals can be pre-ordered. If you enjoy the convenience of supermarket shopping, why not make an on-line order to be delivered on your arrival day.
9.The cottage's central position near the Devon/Somerset border allows easy access to beaches such as Beer and Branscombe and the westcountry's attractions.
10.The cottage is clean and inviting. Its decorated to a high standard, has a beautiful bathroom and a fabulously well equipped kitchen.
This is just a taste of what Windover Farm Cottage has to offer. Please visit www.windoverfarmcottage.co.uk for further photographs and information.
