The Tarka Trail, the path of a disused railway line, runs nearby where you can hire a bike or walk through the Devon countryside. The beautiful, cobbled fishing village of Clovelly is only a few miles away, with its whitewashed cottages and steep cobbled streets where cars are banned and only donkeys are permitted to carry goods up and down the steep lanes.
