 We can strongly recommend holidays in Sussex. It's one of England's most attractive counties with gentle hills, the South Downs, charming traditional villages with centuries old churches, country pubs, quiet country lanes in parts, a superb and scenic coastline, country parks and just masses of places of interest to visit for tourists.
The beaches are a magnet for day trippers when sunny days arrive. Brighton is probably the best known seaside resort with its famous pier, pavilion, good shopping, pubs, restaurants and entertainment. Eastbourne has a more sedate feel, Seaford is quiet and unspoiled with a lovely walk along the coastal path. Views from the top of the white chalk cliffs could not be better.
