Standing in an idyllic setting in Direen near to Cahersiveen, the Old House is a beautifully renovated old farmhouse, full of character and a charming white façade. The interior is spacious and a blend of period features, stylish décor and furnishings. It can sleep six in three bedrooms, one with en-suite shower. The attractive and comfy sitting room with lovely original open fire place is the place to invite friends for a good old Irish singsong around the piano. There's a grand kitchen with dining area plus a further seating area beyond the sitting room. Also at this cottage is a family bathroom with both bath and shower. Of the three bedrooms, there are two doubles and one twin bedroom. Comfortably furnished and in this peaceful location, you can be assured of a good night’s sleep. Outside is a garden with play equipment for the kids. Away from the cottage there's much to enjoy in this versatile area. Enjoy walking or cycling through the beautiful countryside or relaxing on a beach. Alternatively why not try sailing, trout/salmon fishing or even deep sea angling? Opportunities to enjoy these activities are available from Cahersiveen Marina. Or checkout Irish history by exploring the remains of early medieval church sites near Waterville. The Old House is a good quality, cottage style home from home.
