Kirkby Malzeard is a great friendly village, located in Nidderdale in the Yorkshire Dales, an area of outstanding natural beauty.  With fantastic local facilities right on the doorstep, you don't need to go anywhere else during your stay, unless you want to!  Mentioned in the Doomsday Book, Kirkby Malzeard boasts a real ale pub, village shop, tearooms, butcher/farmshop and even its own fish and chip shop! 

To help you walk off those extra calories, there's great walking available within the area and beyond including; the Crackpots Mosiac Trail, Henry Jenkins Pub Walk, Hackfall Woods, Masham Leaves or just a gentle stroll around the village if you prefer.

We are close to the World Heritage Site of Fountains Abbey, Studley Royal and Brimham Rocks, and just a ten minute drive from the market town of Masham and within an hours drive of Aysgarth Falls, Hawes, Middleham and Leyburn.
