Self catering holidays in Jersey

Jersey is an island which is located nearer France than England.  By virtue of its location and island status, Jersey can be an attractive option when it comes to self catering holidays.  Jersey is located around 15 miles off the coast of Normandy in France but the language spoken on the island is mainly English.  Jersey is an interesting island to visit and the island has its own government.   British and French influences can be seen throughout Jersey in the street and place names and in the island’s history.
