Shillings Cottage is a charming, detached stone cottage on a smallholding within the timeless Blackdown Hills in Devon. It is the only cottage which is for rent and is an idyllic rural haven with the use of a swimming pool. This pool lies within extensive gardens, with further orchards and meadows. The beamed cottage sleeps two plus a cot, and is thoughtfully furnished and equipped with everything you need. The bedroom, has a brass super king size bed with a feather duvet and pure white linen. Flowers from the garden and a warm welcome will be a great way to begin a wonderfully relaxing holiday.

Recommended Attractions near Hemyock: This is an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The stone banks, small fields and native hedgerows are timeless. Within reach are many lovely gardens and National Trust properties such as Cothay Manor, Forde Abbey, Montecute, Barrington Court, Hestercombe, Killerton and Knighthayes. Traditional and arts and crafts courses are available at The Old Kennels. Farmers markets take place regularly in Taunton and Wellington. also markets are held in Tiverton and Honiton. Sandy and pebble beaches, fishing villages and fossil cliffs are to be found on the South coast, with sand and surf on the North coast. The Landrover experience is great fun for off road adventure. Parachuting flying and gliding are available at Dunkerswell airfield. There is an old fashioned cinema in Wellington and each local town has its own sports centre. Exeter has a theatre and museum. There is a steam train which runs from Bishops Lydeard to Minehead and a canal with horse drawn barges in Tiverton.
