If the prospect of a pine lodge holiday in a secluded and leafy spot in the Lake Windermere area of the Lake District appeals, then this lodge could be an ideal base for a memorable break in Cumbria.
This slightly elevated two bedroom lodge is reached by four wooden steps that lead to the large decked area in front of it. A garden table and seating stands in one corner of the decking, affording a private and pleasant place to sit and read or chat with friends over a bottle of wine.
Inside the lodge is a light-filled airy open-plan living room that contains a seating and TV section with a slim modern wall mounted fire, gaily coloured rug and coffee table. Leading from the sitting area is the dining table with smart white kitchen beyond. There is a dishwasher in the kitchen and good cooking facilities, fridge and freezer for holiday food storage.
Both bedrooms have their own TVs. One bedroom is double, the other can be two single or a king-size. The bathroom contains a full-size bath.
One of the advantages of this holiday lodge, apart from comfortable and pleasant surroundings is that it is only a few minutes walk to the edge of Lake Windermere and also to the excellent free leisure facilities with the holiday park. Guests have full access to the heated indoor swimming pool, games courts, sauna and Jacuzzi. This is a holiday destination in the Lake District with all the wonderful natural attractions of Cumbria and its lakes, organised activities such as boat trips, fishing, water sports and superb scenery.
The lodge has WiFi and is also pet-friendly – up to two dogs permitted. Bring the dogs, go walking in the amazing English lakelands and have a truly wonderful self-catering holiday.
