About this cottage for up to 2 guests in East Sussex

Wake up to river views on holiday!

The Boathouse is a conveniently located one bedroom riverside flat on the first floor of a smart terrace of holiday apartments overlooking the water and harbour in Rye.

The apartment consists of a contemporary living and kitchen area that is divided by a breakfast bar. Views from the windows are of the river and it would be pleasant to sit and observe boats and ducks. Thee accommodation sleeps two people so that the facilities provide for a two person stay. There is a sofa for two, a breakfast bar with stools for two and enough crockery, cutlery and utensils to allow two people to self-cater using the electric oven, hob and microwave. There is also a small refrigerator.

The double bedroom has venetian blinds. Bed linen and towels are provided.

The bathroom contains a suite with a full-size bath and overhead shower.

A short walk leads into the town centre with shops, pubs and various attractions. Visitors are enchanted by the older parts of town that have cobbled streets, ancient ivy clad half-timbered period houses. Some of the fortified walls are still standing and there is much in this town that harks back to history. Rye is part of 1066 country and the battle of Hastings. The seaside town of Hastings is a short drive away, as is Battle where the actual fighting took place.

Holidaymakers would find plenty of good beaches along the Sussex coast. It’s a great place to visit if you enjoy fishing, boat trips or windsurfing.
