Whether for a weekend, short break or longer stay, a wedding reception, birthday party or anniversary celebration, this impressive 7 bedroom country home which dates back to medieval times promises plenty of atmosphere and historical appeal. Set within beautiful lawned gardens which total six acres, this large manor house is bound to impress.
With 7 bedrooms, this property offers up to 26 guests spacious accommodation and is pet-friendly, welcoming up to 2 pet dogs. There is plenty of room to spread out and socialise with the living areas including a lounge to seat 18 with a warming open fire, seating areas in the hall, a snug and a large impressive dining room which seats up to 20. The roomy kitchen is a great place to cook and the games room/library with snooker table and grand piano is a fantastic place to keep the group entertained on fun afternoons or evenings.
Of the seven bedrooms, most have easily accessible en-suite facilities, all have TVs and all have super-king size beds which can be made up as twins instead if required (please inform us how you want the rooms to be made up on booking). Five of the bedrooms also have a sofa bed. There is also a family bathroom on the second floor and two WCs on the ground floor.
On days out, discover some of Kent's best historical attractions with both Chiddingstone Castle as well as Hever Castle and Gardens (of Anne Boleyn fame) nearby. For walks, bike rides and pony trekking the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is close at hand. For boutique and high street shopping and a great choice of eateries and bars, Royal Tunbridge Wells is just 10 miles away.
