Spadgers is a romantic holiday cottage with an open log fire. Spadgers' big attraction is the enclosed 'oasis' of a garden. Spadgers is part of a short terrace of 18th Century flax workers cottages, just off the lovely village green of Long Melford.

The village was made famous by being the setting for the tv Lovejoys series and has many antique shops, warehouses, boutiques, restaurants and pubs in it, the cottage backs on to open countryside so you can walk your dog without going onto a road, there is also a lovely walk down the disused railway track to Lavenham, which is England's best preserved Medieval village. The villages in Suffolk are steeped in history. This is simply a fascinating area to explore with buildings and remarkable churches going back to the 12th century. Enjoy thriving market towns such as Sudbury, Bury St Edmunds, the shopping and entertainment offered by Ipswich and Roman Colchester.
