Comfortable family holiday home in a great location for exploring the coast and other hidden Suffolk secrets be it churches, market towns, indoor and outdoor theatre, arts and crafts and historic houses. This pretty Suffolk pink Edwardian cottage is perfectly located in a rural hamlet, just outside the village of Middleton with its renowned pub, farm shop, Holy Trinity church and well maintained rec. Close to the coast, with an acre of ground to relax in, it is ideal for families of all ages, any time of the year. It sleeps six in two double and one twin bedrooms. Frequently used by its owners, it hosts a well equipped kitchen and diner and two comfortable reception rooms, one with a woodburner, the other an open fire and TV and is the perfect place to retreat to after a busy day exploring the sites and sampling the excellent local food. Cyclists and walkers will find it a perfect base camp and are always welcome.

Recommended Attractions near Middleton: Suffolk is a historic county, famous for its market towns and ancient churches and you will be spoilt for choice with Theberton, Blythburgh, Wenhaston pretty much on the doorstep. There are lots of antique shops to browse in, tea shops to rest in and good restaurants for special dinners. Good beaches for swimming and walks are at nearby Thorpeness and Walberswick. Our lovely pink cottage is an excellent base for visits to the Suffolk heritage coast and its heathlands. The following towns are all within easy reach by car and some by bicycle if you're a good cyclist. Dunwich - 4 miles, Minsmere - 4 miles, Aldeburgh - 8 miles, Walberswick - 7 miles, Thorpeness - 4 miles, Southwold - 9 miles, Snape - 7 miles and Orford - 10 miles. Good places to eat near Middleton: Nearest pub for drinks and good value pub grub is the award winning Bell at Middleton (1 mile); Mains in Yoxford serves fabulous locally sourced home-cooked produce in an informal atmosphere (very child friendly); The Bell restaurant and hotel in Saxmundham has been refurbished and is ideal as a lunch or dinner stop. The Crown at Westleton, Anchor at Walberswick and Satis House in Yoxford are all fovourite places to eat within a short drive. Regatta and the Lighthouse, both in Aldburgh are also highly recommended.
