Superb, rural 3 bedroom holiday cottage close to Welford-on-Avon, Warwickshire, sorry no pets.

Excellent base from which a group/family of six can experience Warwickshire's gems. Why not walk part of The Avon Way or The Heart of England Way footpaths that pass the village? Cyclists can take the Stratford Greenway cycle path.

Stratford-upon-Avon: Visit Shakespeare's birthplace, Shakespeare's new place, the 500 year old, Ann Hathaway's Cottage, and see a performance of one of his plays.

On returning to Avon View, rustle up a favourite dish with provisions bought in the village, in the lovely, kitchen equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. Eat leisurely in the separate dining room, off the sitting room, all on the first-floor. In warm weather, savour an alfresco meal on the raised decking area, and enjoy the beautiful views.

The spacious sitting room has lovely views, and is a perfect place to snuggle up, with a glass of wine, in front of the TV.

As night falls it is time to have a soak in the ground-floor bathroom with shower over, or a quick dip in the walk in shower, in the shower room, before making a beeline for the three comfy, bedrooms, also on the ground-floor. There is one bedroom with a king-size bed and two twin bedrooms.

A must visit is the amazing Stratford-upon-Avon Butterfly Farm. Visit market town, Stow-on-the Wold that has an ancient cross and stocks at either end of the square. Browse art galleries, antique shops and much more.

Sorry, no pets, or smoking. Off-road parking is available for 2 cars. The property is accessed via 11 external stairs from the first floor. A good housekeeping bond of £350 applies.
