About this unique holiday yurt for up to 2 guests in Worcestershire

This unusual Western-styled open-plan yurt makes for a unique holiday experience for a romantic couple looking for an idyllic rural location. The yurt is situated on the banks of a pretty tree-lined lake on the outskirts of the quaint village of Beckford.

A design first used around 450BC and still practiced by many nomads in Central Asia, the Western construction uses local hardwood with a waterproof canvas. Inside, you will marvel at the lattice wall-sections that adorn the walls and roof, along with the large windows that allow the light to flood the room. A soft sofa sits opposite a woodburner gas effect stove and a small sauna adds a luxurious touch. The yurt has been thoroughly furnished throughout, with a small kitchen and attached breakfast bar, king-sized bed and Whirlpool bath. A separate toilet and basin is accessible through the yurt.

Outside, guests can enjoy the sun dropping down over the tranquil lake whilst bathing in a private hot tub on the wooden veranda. A small BBQ area with a warming fire pit is provided and visitors have access to off-road parking for two cars.

The location makes for a great walking or cycling base; many can be accessed straight from the property. Beckford itself is a wonderful little village; just 8 minutes' walk away, with a traditional country inn, a historic Norman Church and a nearby nature reserve. Further afield, one could take the drive to Cheltenham to see the famous racecourse or to the quintessentially English village of Broadway, with its stylish art galleries, boutique shops and delightful restaurants.
