Step inside this spacious cottage and prepare to be pleased. Oak floors and contemporary furniture create a stylish holiday home. The kitchen floor is tiled and most practical, especially since a pet is allowed. The fitted kitchen is at one end of a large room, a dining area at the other. Step through the patio doors and into the garden which is mostly laid to lawn. A barbecue allows the option of grills outdoors. There is a garden table and seating to eat in the garden on warm days.
An open fire in the lounge can be lit to ward off evening chills or to create a warm glow to relax by. An initial basket of fuel for the fire is provided.
Sleeping arrangements include three bedrooms, one of which is downstairs and has its own Jacuzzi bathroom. The upstairs bedrooms under the eaves have a sloping ceiling and skylight windows. Lie in bed and watch the stars. There are two double bedrooms, one of which contains an extra single bed for a child. Both these bedrooms share a shower room.
This is a very good holiday home for people who like to go out and about during the day exploring The Ring of Beara and the coast and make their own entertainment in the evenings. Restful sleep is also assured because it is such a peaceful spot.
The nearest village is Allihies, about 8 km away so a car is essential. There is plenty of space on the driveway for several vehicles. A meter charge for electricity is made at the end of a stay.
