These holiday cottages are ideal for a self-catering holiday in the Yorkshire Dales for up to 6 people or for those who prefer a larger cottage with lower occupancy.

The Yorkshire Dales is a Landscape of high moorlands, limestone hills, steep sided valleys and plunging waterfalls. Made into a National Park in 1954, the Yorkshire Dales National Park covers an area of 680 square miles and is a fantastic arena for recreation and peaceful relaxation, and a haven for wildlife of all kinds. The perfect destination for a family holiday, with plenty to see and do for everyone, whether it be mountain biking on one of the many bridleways and greenways that crisscross the park, or for something a little more relaxing, one of the many guided walks offered throughout the park. Or for the more adventurous in the family the upland rivers of the dales respond quickly to rainfall and provide many challenging white water opportunities for canoeing and rafting.

Perhaps visit the highest Pub in Britain, the 17th Century Tan Hill Inn, perched at 1732 ft above sea level where you will likely be joined at the bar by an adopted lamb or two and the rest of the owners menagerie of pets.
