Cleaning Quality Standards

Where indicated on listings, owners or agencies pledge to meet these cleaning standards and assure guests that cleaning staff wear gloves during cleaning.

•    Hard surfaces are cleaned using a detergent or soap and water.  Surfaces in kitchens and bathrooms are disinfected between guest changeovers.

•    High touch surfaces such as tables, doorknobs, light switches, TV remotes and handles are disinfected between guest changeovers.

•    Towels and bedding are laundered in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions at the highest possible water temperature and then completely dried.

•    Floors are washed with detergent and carpets are vacuumed.
