The popular seaside resort of Cromer is just ten miles along the coast from Bacton and is home to a pier with a traditional variety show in the Pavillion Theatre, a few museums, and plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy.

Also close to Bacton is the capital of Norfolk, Norwich. If you and your loved ones want to take a day trip away from the coast on your cottage holiday break and visit a city, then Norwich is about a forty-minute drive away from the village. Norwich is set on the River Wensum and is a medieval city with cobbled streets - perfect to explore when on holiday in this beautiful part of the UK.
