If you are looking to get away to the unspoilt Jurassic coastline for a coastal holiday with friends or family, then Glenacres with its location just 100 yards from the beach, its luxurious interior, games room, beautiful gardens and outdoor swimming pool could be the perfect place to stay. Furnished with comfort and care to create a lovely atmosphere where you can truly unwind and relax, each of the 5 bedrooms (there is one king-size bed with an en-suite bathroom, another king-size bedroom (can be arranged as a twin on request), a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a family bedroom with 3 double beds) feature double aspect windows with lovely views, along with luxurious beds with Egyptian cotton linen. There is plenty of space for groups to get together or relax with 3 reception rooms; one lounge with open fire and comfy sofas, plus dining area, another lounge with sofas, TV (with Sky) and baby grand piano and a games room (again with TV and Sky) plus a football table and selection of toys, books and games. The stylish luxurious kitchen is well equipped and you can eat either inside or out; outdoors there is a choice of two areas; in the formal or walled gardens.

The conservatory also features seating areas where you can sit, relax and look out to the pool garden and is complete with a small drinks fridge and tea and coffee facilities.

Glenacres is set within an area of outstanding natural beauty close to the South West Coastal Path; relax on the beach, do a spot of fossil hunting or go fishing, it's all on offer along the stunning Jurassic coastline. Close by is 'Golden Cap', worth a visit to soak up unrivalled view across Lyme Bay and towards the Isle of Portland. Unsurprisingly this stunning area of the Dorset coast has featured in many films and TV programmes including ITV1's drama 'Broadchurch' which used West Bay as it's backdrop and Jane Austin's classic love story 'Persuasion' which was filmed in Lyme Regis as was the 1980 film 'The French Lieutenant's Woman'. Those keen to explore can visit the lovely nearby town of Bridport, the historic seaside resort of Lyme Regis and the many lovely beaches and coves along the Jurassic coast.

The locals are spoilt for choice, for example, there is the 'The Wild Garlic Restaurant', Beaminster, 'The Hive Beach Cafe', Burton Bradstock, 'Hix Oyster & Fish House', Cobb Road, Lyme Regis and not forgetting the famous River Cottage Canteen, Axminister - Hugh Fearnleigh Whittingstall's cantee is all about great local food. There are also the 'Riverside', West Bay, the 'George Inn', Chideock, 'The Bull Hotel', Bridport and our local, 'The Anchor Inn', Seatown.
