The Barn is one of five eco-friendly stone-built holiday cottages of a very high standard, set in a rural location in Pembrokeshire. The nearest hamlet is Penycwm which is part of Haverfordwest. The location is ideal for holidaymakers who like the tranquillity of the countryside with the added benefit of the coast just a short drive away; it's only four miles or so to Newgale Beach and the Pembrokeshire coastal path. This high quality holiday barn is designed for comfort, has open plan style living with feature stone walls and a wooden staircase leading to a galleried landing.
One of the two double bedrooms is downstairs and has its own en-suite wet room. There are grab bars and features that would assist mobility impaired guests. The second double bedroom is upstairs and also has an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower, washbasin, heated towel rail and a WC.
This self-catering holiday accommodation is well thought out and offers guests a high degree of comfort. A table to seat four adjoins the oak kitchen area. There is plenty of cupboard space and all crockery, glassware and cooking utensils and provided. The kitchen includes necessary domestic appliances such as a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave. There is a freezer to store frozen foods to reduce time shopping unless you want to. Sometimes shopping somewhere different can be a pleasure that contributes to a holiday.
Two sofas in the sitting section of the open-plan living area have a coffee table between them and a the optional extra warmth provided by a wood burner. A TV with DVD player stands in the corner. A HiFi music player with an ipod dock allows you to bring and play your own favourite music.
The back door of the cottage leads out onto the patio with seating and a barbeque. The high quality eco-barns are surrounded by lawns, a pond and children’s playground and are set in twenty two acres of land backed by Pembrokeshire farms and woodland.
It is easy to sleep in this quiet rural retreat and enjoy each day of your holiday with a new discovery of a beach, cove or stunning view in the countryside or national park.

Recommended Attractions near Haverfordwest: The countryside is wildlife rich. If you're lucky, you may spot otters fishing in Brandy Brook, badgers, foxes and numerous species of birds.
Good places to visit near Haverfordwest: A visit to Britain's smallest city of St. David's is a must when in this part of Wales; it is one of the ancient pilgrim routes for early Christianity. Solva is also popular.
