A two-bedroom pet-friendly timber holiday chalet stands in surrounded by lawn in a fenced garden. There is decking on one side where it is pleasant to sit and enjoy the sunshine or read a book.

Perfect for people who like the simple life and want to bring a dog on holiday with them, this self-catered accommodation, on the outskirts of Biggleswade, is suitable for a town and country break, and would be appreciated by holidaymakers who like to walk and also shop and sightsee.

The accommodation is in Bedfordshire, close to the border with Cambridgeshire and provides scope to visit attractions in both counties.

The holiday accommodation is all on one floor which appeals to people of a certain age. Both bedrooms are carpeted and contain a double bed and ample storage for holiday clothing. This might suit two couples enjoying a break together. The bathroom has a full-size bath with a shower overhead.

The living areas are all separate rooms: sitting room with a dining area and a kitchen. The heating and all appliances and cooking are electric. Crockery and utensils are provided to be able to cook up meals or microwave any takeaways, or frozen meals, to make life easy on holiday. A washing machine allows you to take home a suitcase full of clean clothing if you prefer to wash as you go.

The lodge has WiFi which is always a boon when away from home; check the weather forecast, plan activities and make bookings. Guests are welcome to bring one or two dogs with them. Although the garden is fenced, it is not secure for dogs.
