About this Woodford dogs welcome Cottage for 12

This is a superb country house for twelve people, in Woodford, a hamlet set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in North Cornwall. It is surrounded by a large garden with lawns, garden tables, seating and a gas barbecue for fun summer cooking outdoors.

Spacious and very well equipped, this self-catering house is light and airy, painted in neutral shades and sunny yellow. The style is contemporary and easy on the eye. It would be a wonderful holiday home for family gatherings at Christmas, New Year or to celebrate special occasions. A full-size snooker table in the games room is a popular place to relax. A fridge keeps the beer and wine chilled and there is a wood burner for those cooler evenings.

The living accommodation

A long wide hallway leads to the two sitting rooms, dining room, kitchen and staircase to the upper level. Both sitting rooms have a wood burner and are attractively furnished. One has a corner sofa and an armchair arranged around the fireplace and with a direct view of the TV. This has to be a ‘chill out’ room for relaxing whilst watching favourite movies. The second sitting room has soft comfortable sofas and a book corner in addition to another television set. There would be no arguing in this holiday home over which programme to watch.

Big Kitchen

The kitchen is spacious and airy. It has a quality oak kitchen with the cooking and work section at one end and a table to seat eight people and a dresser at the other end. The kitchen contains all essential appliances for easy holiday living, including a microwave, dishwasher, a coffee machine and the usual fridge/freezer, toaster and kettle. A range cooker with a double oven and a six-ring hob allows guests to prepare food for a large group of people.

Dining Room

A larger table to seat twelve people stands in the dining room. There is also a piano in this room which could prove useful for musical evenings.

A ground floor shower room and a separate cloakroom completes the downstairs accommodation.

Bathrooms
