Looking for a holiday cottage in Jersey?  Jersey is a great island to discover on a self-catering holiday.

The island of Jersey is located nearer France than England.  By virtue of its location and island status, Jersey can be an attractive option when it comes to self catering holidays.  Jersey is located around 15 miles off the coast of Normandy in France but the language spoken on the island is mainly English.  Jersey is an interesting island to visit and the island has its own government.   British and French influences can be seen throughout Jersey in the street and place names and in the island’s history.

Being an island, Jersey is known for its beautiful coves, blue seas and sandy beaches.  If spending time by the seaside appeals to you, you may want to consider a self catering break in Jersey.  Jersey also has lots of countryside as much of the island is rural, making Jersey an option for country cottage breaks.
